GwenMedia Reborn
Isabella Sinclaire reopens top fetish video company
Professional Dominatrix and Fetish Model Isabella
Sinclaire has officially announced the reopening of fetish
film production company GwenMedia, and has already set
plans in motion to bring the former industry leader in
high quality bdsm and latex videos back to the top of its
game. In conjunction with the reopening announcement, she
also announced the hiring of former co-founder and
acclaimed fetish video filmmaker John Fitzgerald as Head
of Production.
Both announcements should come as a pleasant surprise to
GwenMedia fans who might have feared the death of owner
Bob Zak last year would be the end of the company. But
behind the scenes, Zak and Sinclaire had been embroiled in
a lengthy litigation in which Sinclaire, a co-producer of
the famed “Ivy Manor” series for GwenMedia, as well as its
star, fought Zak over royalty issues from sales of the
series. Shortly after Zak’s death, the court ordered all
assets of GwenMedia awarded to Ms. Sinclaire.
With the appointment of Fitzgerald in the role of Head of
Production, both feel they can return GwenMedia to its
early glory. “John and I have always had a wonderfully
collaborative relationship,” says Sinclaire. “The early
films of GwenMedia, which he wrote and directed, were by
far a higher quality than the later videos after he left
the company. I would like to return to that early quality
for the fans, and give them something to get excited about
again.” Fitzgerald insists that the plan is quality, not
quantity. “We don’t feel our job is to put out as many
videos as possible, but rather to raise the bar on the
high-end latex, fetish and bdsm film,” Fitzgerald adds.
“We want to make videos that are both kinky and sexy, but
still ensure they have fun stories and high production
values.”
As if that isn’t enough, Sinclaire is also announcing a
return to the original “Ivy Manor” series. “John and I had
such high hopes for that 10-part series. But after he
left, the quality shifted and I was never happy,” she
says. “We’re going to re-start the series from Ivy Manor
5, the first one that John was not involved in.” With an
entirely new script, and with Fitzgerald at the helm,
Sinclaire is confident that the series will return to its
original glory. Production for “Ivy Manor 5: Rubber
Dreams” has been slated for Spring 2007.
Fitzgerald realizes he can’t possibly produce all
GwenMedia content while still managing overall creative
direction. “I’m seeking other filmmakers who might fit
into the new GwenMedia fold,” he announced as well. “I’m
even entertaining the concept of some models I’ve worked
with in the past. Many of them are very creative, and just
need help with the more technical aspects of the process.
That’s what I can help with.” Interested filmmakers should
contact Fitzgerald for more information. “I’m definitely
holding the bar high, though. But if you think you have
what it takes, I want to hear from you.”
